It has been said that pride is sin, And yet proud men all seem to win. Is pride the seed or fruit of deed? If pride is fruit, then what is seed? Or can it be that both are one? That seeds bear fruit through deeds they've done, And fruit, as seeds, yields greater deeds. The things I've done all make me proud, And now I want to shout out loud, "Hey, World, it's me.
